Of The New Year and Those Pesky Resolutions...

Happy New Year peeps...

Nope, it's not my new year's resolution to blog more...just felt like putting the silly little voice in my head at ease and write something down...
Nyhoos, I guess the most frequently asked questions at this time of the year are:

1. Hey, what did u do for new year's eve??; bleh.....and the dreaded one....
2. So, what's your new year's resolution??.

I don't see why it's important for me to announce what I did for new year's eve....
Do you get a quiet satisfaction if you had a more awesome new year's eve than I did?
hehe....I'm so bitchy today no?! bleh...haha...

but I guess, some people ask for courtesy sake...hmmm...OK, I pooped during new year's eve! meeoww~~

and then there's the next inevitable question....new year's resolution....I'm like, Mind Your Own Business!!!!

So, just a short one today...just to let you guys know I'm ALIVE and I had an AWESOME new year's eve with family and close friends.....the days of partyin', clubbin' and all the other stuff are behind me I guess, sorry Gary and yes you, my darling Siao Poh!!

but never say never right?! haha....
and as for my new year's resolution, I'm a believer in the fact that one shouldn't tell out their birthday wishes, so I guess I treat my new year's resolution like my birthday wishes...P&C

Of Dry Spells....

OMG.....2 months....2 months since I last updated...and funny thing is, I didn't realize it's been so freakin' long! Ahhh, how time flies when one is preoccupied with the nonsensicallities (nope, i'm quite sure that is not a word) of life!!

Gosh...I can't believe how blinded I was, lookin back right now, it's disturbin how foolish and stupid I was! Oh, damn it!

I bet you (I wonder who would still be reading this shit) must be wondering what I'm talking about right now, but as my dear cousin Miss Ann and my dear friend Miss Teh would say, "your blog is rubbish! Don't know what you are writing about!! Don't understand!!"

So this is how it should be, left in the dark...all I can say is that it is over. I feel free, light....and foolishly ready to jump back into the game, hoping that I would not freefall into oblivion!

Of Fall.....

Hey peeps, it's me cyber ranting again! lol....
So the summer is over, well, there are no seasons in Malaysia, only hot weather or rainy season...let's not start with that alright?!
It's time to rejoice, to indulge in the good, the awesome, the bad and the plain-downright nasty TV shows!!! Woohooo....it's the Fall TV season peeps! It's time to start firing up those servers.....I know I know, it's all just starting in the states, and a certain channel on Astro only shows the last seasons~ but there are certain "ways" to get 'em as soon as they show it over the pacific...it's literally just a click away!

I'm not saying that the summer was bad, no no, far from it actually! I'm still saturated with all the great summer movies...my top picks...Star Trek, Potter....well, those are the 2 that stood out....of course there's the Tom Hanks movie and a slew of very entertaining movies....also summer TV was utterly enjoyable no? True Blood ppl!! Yeah.....who doesn't wanna drink during office hours IN THE OFFICE, Mad Men....And who can ignore the ultimate guide to nepotism that is Entourage?! AWESOME!

But those aside, there's always a thrill when it comes to Fall TV season...The anticipation for the post-cliff-hanger season finales....oooh....what happens! Other than the things "spoiler" you hear, Like how George dies and Izzie survives....with the consolation being, "for how long?"
Well, there's that....and there's the new shows.....the newbies vying for your attention, inticing you with the slew of sneaky promo pics (yes, "The Beautiful Life" you sick sick ppl) and sneak previews!! The newbies, trying to hook you into the agonising weekly wait for a new episode, and wishing, cursing those mid-season breaks....ARGH!!!!

Well then, a handful of shows have premiered...and yes, yours truly, have watched...lol....what can I say? TV ADDICT!!! And the verdict.....ah, let me put it this way....if it's awesome, it's awesome...and awesome is "Glee" and "Vampire Diaries" so far.... sinking for me, like a pebble in the water, like a 600kg elephant....with a reassuring thud on the bottom, is the kinda new shows....remakes....90210 and Melrose Place....gosh....stinky.....

That being said, Glee ppl....Glee, the semi-musical TV show, coolness, but it's a pretty difficult premise to get the sceptics, but once you sit through one, you're hooked! And while, I think Vampire Diaries is riding on the craze that is Twillight, with better actors....sorry Twillighters....and my dear cousin...haha...it's one to tune in to....

As for the most famour zip code in TV, and it's sister show, Melrose Place....well, to be fair, it's just the beginning of the season.....it "could" get "better"....here's to hoping....

Of Humans and Cockroaches....

So I have a friend who's fascinated with cockroaches....
seriously, it feels like he knows everything there is to know about 'em roaches~
The other day I was on the way to the hospital with him and out of the blue the topic about roaches suddenly came up. Don't ask me how it came about, I can't remember, it was just SO RANDOM!

Did you know that cockroaches can survive for at least 3 days after you remove their heads??
Seriously!! I don't know how true it is, it was told so "matter of fact"-ly that one can't do anything but accept it as the truth and ponder the question, "how the hell did he know that?"

That's not all, he goes on to EXPLAIN, that the headless roaches ONLY lives 3 days BECAUSE, get this, they can only survive that long without drinking water......F*&% I didn't even know cockroaches DRANK!!!!

Oh yes, not forgetting, that these scary - yes, I admit, I am afraid of 'em - creatures who defy extinction, can survive without food for MONTHS to YEARS!! And the justification to that is, "see, they can survive the extinction of dinosaurs AND the ice age!"

Argh, I was freakin' out right about then! The only thing I needed to know about those pesky, sometimes flight-capable creatures from outer-space - yes, they are aliens to me - is to get the hell out of a room when their around, 'coz doesn't it seem like those equipped with flight properties go straight at ya when you see them??
